- 300ml milk / 200ml cream
- 1 vanilla pod / 4 yolks
- 75g sugar / 40g cornflour
- Make basic custard (add cornflour to eggs once fluffy and beaten with sugar)
- Add boiling milk, return to pan
- Cook on low heat until thick
- Stir constantly
