This is genoise sponge for a trifle

  • 200g butter, melted and cooled
  • 400g p. flour
  • 300g sugar
  • 10 eggs
  • 5g baking powder
  1. Mix sugar and eggs in Kitchen Aid into a thick, pale sabayon.
  2. Very lightly fold in sifted flour and b.p, then gently fold in melted butter.
  3. Pour into lined baking tray and cook for 10min on 180C
