Treacle tart (my way)
- 1 pint golden syrup
- 1/2 pint double cream
- 5 whole eggs
- 6oz white breadcrumbs
- zest of 1 lemon
- 1 peeled grated bramley
- mix spice and cinnamon
- Warm cream and golden syrup
- Whisk eggs, add syrup and cream and everything else
- 160°c, 40m. Should have a sight wobble.
